It’s been a loooooonggg time since I’ve written here or participated in Five Minute Fridays, but here I am after receiving an email about the 31 Days of Five Minute Free Writes led by Kate Motaung. So the goal is to write for five minutes on the given writing prompt.
Time starts now:
Did you know you can be brief time-wise, yet still deliver a Powerful Message to others. Five minutes might seem to not be enough time, but do you know one word, one sentence could be the answered prayer, the confirmation someone has been waiting on. Maybe someone else already said it, but there was something about the way YOU said it that really hit home. A lot of times we feel the need to be long-winded and share more than necessary (content and length). But many times a brief answer is all that’s needed. Why so powerful? Because when brief, you leave room for the other person to think, consider, and contemplate what you’ve shared creating an aha moment. You could’ve given them the answer, but instead, you gave just enough to stir up something in their spirit. 1 minute left… no need to say more. Nice and brief! 🙂
